Time To Let The Depression Sink In
I wasn't expecting the Sharks to be any good this year. I was very pleasantly surprised when it looked as though they were going to have a playoff spot. In fact, I was getting ready to fill out my bracket with them winning the Stanley Cup. Their falloff was heartbreaking. Within a matter of weeks the team went from red hot to ice cold. They lost their spot in the playoffs and fought to get it back. Some battles are lost. The Sharks lost their battle on April 13th. What's interesting is that they lost their battle with a win against the Predators. At least they took Nashville down with them. It was with the Kings' victory that both teams were officially eliminated for playoff contention. This is disappointing. I'm not quite at the point where I'd call myself depressed, but I'm certainly let down when I look at their early and mid-season performance as compared with the last few weeks. They simply cou...
